Trump had the highest vote total of any president in History except for Biden in the same year, so I guess you think any other Republican candidate can get that same total? And that's with Trump actively trying to sabotage them? If any other candidate could beat Biden, The Republicans would have not done so terrible in the midterms.

Florida and Georgia are not deep red states. Both were close to split even in 2018 race. Both won handily in 2022. Lake & Masters were heavy Trumpers. Of course it would have been hard for Masters regardless going up against Kelly.
