LOL! YAh, I saw that and mentioned it in the game thread. He had that 'pleasently surprised' look on his face, especially when Lucas went in and made a real nice shot similar to the ones Chris Paul and Marbury make on consistent basis.

It was nice to see, the whole bench was up and cheering each other throughout the game, it was really nice to see those guys smile and enjoy themselves for a change; even Stro was teasing Deke after he connected on that alleyoop pass, they had lots of fun last night, I hope they can have more fun win or lose, I think it helps them if they just play loose and not put too much pressure on themselves, they need to have more fun.

Yeah, I think they can run.....some. I don't think we can run and gun with teams like Phoenix and San Antonio. I just don't think we've got the athletes and players to keep up with Phoenix and San Antonio's defense and low turnover offense prevents teams from running up and down the floor on them.

I definitely like the addition of John Lucas as the primary backup PG. He's our version of Earl Boykins and with the way the games are being called with every bit of perimeter contact a foul, we need quick, penetrating point guards.

The 3 biggest things I saw last night were ball movement, spacing, and everything jumper seemed to be finding the net. Are all those things just a result of getting Rafer back in full swing and running Lucas out there? Or was it just one of those games that are aberrations?

I'm not trying to be negative but it reminds me of the Laker game. We're playing without Yao and we look like we're shutting down the Lakers and we escape with a win. Last night, we look like world beaters but it was against a team that has underacheived and did not play much defense and their shooting was off.

Was their shooting off because of our defense or did they just have an off night? I guess we may know more tomorrow night after Cleveland.

If you hate to do it, then don`t and if coming here is so depressing, then quit coming

JVG finally realizes if he does the opposite of what he does best... he can actually win games...

I bet this is why Les picked him after Rudy. Rudy was the type who could enjoy the game, win or lose. Van Gundy's the opposite. Each personality has its advantages and disadvantages.
