I feel like this team needs another big and a play maker to get the lob going for Wood. What would it take to get Lonzo Ball? Bigs possibly Noel NYK Or Collins Atl Or Bagley
Doesn't really matter since we're on a rebuild protectory. I mean if you expect this team to win a ring this year then you'll probably be very disappointed.
I can’t believe I’m the 1st and only vote for 14th pick/Kevin Martin. Harden took that away when he came to Houston but left it behind upon his departure.
I think most of us would have agreed with you the day of the trade .... but since then they have played really well and won games when they didn't shoot good. I think its obvious they are too good to tank and their ceiling is anywhere between that 12-14 pick area to the 3 seed , the west is wide open after LA and LA. They may not be favorites but they can beat any team in the league on any given night because of their defense. I can't wait for them to play the Nets .... they have something to prove ... "just not good enough." I expect that to be a very physical game.
If we don't win the championship, I'd be shocked. If we fail, probably should sack Silas and Stone and co
Ceiling is probably a decent playoff run. Possibly more if it's going to be possible to add a solid PF without disrupting the team balance. However, this team is yet to be tested against true contenders. I think Brooklyn is the first in line. We'll know more after that game.
Most say to trade everyone except Wood, then magically convince Wood to re-sign with a team full of 20yo late-lottery picks and a franchise that convinced him to sign originally by promising to be competitive ... and then made him suffer through 3 horrible seasons. Oh, but if he doesn’t sign, then that is even better because then we can tank harder! Tanking is the only way forward - don’t let Miami, Toronto, Boston, Utah, Portland, or either LA team tell you otherwise! Just do your best to lose for 3-5 years and it will all work out, yule see!
