Go to Dick's on the Riverwalk. Great place. It's supposed to be the only restraunt where the waiters can be jerks. We went and the guy put a hat on my brother that said, "My friends think I'm straight!", and a sign on this kid that was about five that said, "I will fart for a quarter." My brother switched hats with the kid though. There were like bras hanging from the roof. I was walking out of the store and almost ran into a waiter, and the waiter was like, "Watch it brat! Move it or wear it!" You walk in and they throw napkins and straws in the air. Everything is served in buckets. It's great. You know how they have the game with the claw where you win stuffed animals? Well, there, inside they have lobsters. You catch one, and they will cook it for free(2 dollars per play). Great place. They just opened one in Houston too, haven't been there yet, though.
I remember hearing about this as a child. Something like where if you put powder on your car and stop on the tracks, then you would be pushed over the tracks, and handprints would be on your car. I didnt know this was in San Antonio though. When was the bus crash?
Yes I did. We sat there for about 15 minutes in idle. Nothing happened. Luckily all the partyers were pretty wasted, so no one minded that we sat there for so long, even the people behind us in line. They just got out of their cars and started partying with the people walking on the tracks. It was quite a scene. Sorry guys, I don't remember exactly where in S.A. it was. Like I said this was many years ago. But if I recall correctly, it was near the San Juan Mission. The accidents is said to have taken place in the 1930s I believe. I forgot to mention this in my last post. We took pictures of the sight before we left. One picture had your typical railroad crossing sign in the right hand corner of it. After close inspection we saw a red substance all over the railroad sign in the picture, similar to blood. Those of us who remember looking at the sign did not recall the substance on the actual sign itself. Spooky, eh?
I've heard great things about Taco Land. If I was going to San Antonio I'd head there first and ask the folks there where to go next.
I really got to go to this place!!! Thats going on my list! 1.Going to Dicks 2. Check out the oh so hot ladies. 3. Riverwalk 4. Visit the missions 5. Spend time with the ladies....and..TWINS
You may wanna bring a flask of vodka to the missions to make things more enjoyable. I would probably cut that portion of the trip out and increase drinking time at a bar.
