    That would be...

The Star Spangled Banner - Francis Scott Key (lyrics only I think)

...and that is my choice. The Whitney Houston Super Bowl rendition is a chilling version!

(best if accompanied by a sports venue directly in front of me, ie, a court or field with white stripes)

"The one song that makes me stop and listen is "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice, since he actually tells us to "Stop and listen"

Funny - when I hear that intro I actually - secretly hope it is Van Winkle instead of that David Bowie -"under pressure" song.

Always get a kick out of "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh.

    "My Maseratti does one-eighty-five
I lost my license, now I don't drive
I have a limo, ride in the back
I lock the doors in case I'm attacked

I'm making records, my fans they can't wait
They write me letters, tell me I'm great
So I got me an office, gold records on the wall
Just leave a message, maybe I'll call"

Is it because of that kid doing the drums on the video? I like this one too. :(
I used to watch this while in MEXICO and... hey! I guess it reminds me of me being in Mexico and not knowing the words to it... yipe.

I've never seen the video. My parents didn't want me watching MTV then. :(

OK, my other one, for this post:

Wow so many... Gonna have to go with Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer. Not my all-time favorite, but it always manages to snare me in.

"The Load Out" - Jackson Browne... could possibly be one of the best songs ever.
