    1. doesn't know anything about basketball, but i guess some of that can be attributed to me. he knows a few rockets and lakers from the series last year, but that's all. haven't really taught him much.

    2. passive ego... if there is such a thing.

waiting for mr. and mrs. valdez to duke it out in this thread.

    She is too hot.

    She never lets me cook.

She doesn't bother me when I watch sports on TV.

She wants to make love too much.

    She makes too much money.

She never buys fun things she doesn't need.

She always comes and cheers during my big basketball or hockey games.

    Gosh... so annoying...

i dont know about most annoying
things like not replacing hand drying towels
or pushing the toothpaste up the tube are things on a daily matter
    things that matter though
    she watches sports with me
but she is more of a fan of players rather than of teams
i guess positive and negative there
i would just really like for her to be a rockets fan
and not talk trash about yao ming when he has a crap game or makes 1 turnover

Being currently single, I can only comment on exes, and it has to do with the Rockets:

"Can I watch the game with you??"
--No you cannot. Not if you don't care, don't pay attention, and aren't interested in anything besides making sure I'm not having fun without you. If you want to be a fan, want to learn about the team and the game, then yes. Otherwise, leave me and my Rockets game (and any other sport) ALONE!!!!

Annoying questions I've been asked in the past:
"Which ones are the Rockets?" either red or white, based on whether they are playing at home or away, which leads to the next annoying question:

"Which one is the home team?" despite the home teams logo smack in the middle of the friggin' court.

Then there are the ones who admittedly don't care and say they'll leave me alone to watch the game, then do the exact opposite. They are the ones who cannot understand that people like to listen to a game when it is on, and not just stare quietly at a screen while they proceed to blabber on and on about nothing. This category includes every female in my family except for my hoops fan, lesbian cousin who is awesome.

Ugh. I've only met a handful of women who don't bug the crap out of me when sports are on and unfortunately, I've never dated any of those. Drives me insane....

Last night, I'm watching Mark Stein talk about Gilbert Arenas' suspension. Then she asks me if he plays for the Titans. Wife also got Iowa and GT mixed up during the Orange Bowl. "I thought GT wore black and yellow." It always pisses me off how she constantly asks questions when we watch games. Annoys the hell out of me.

This. I wrote a post a while back about my wife getting promoted at her job, and her boss read it. Then she proceded to read it aloud at work to my wife and the rest of the people working. Luckily it was nothing but positive. Just be careful what you write on this board, because anybody can read it, google it, etc.

My wife is pretty awesome. About the only thing we bicker over is the cleanliness of the house. I'm not a slob, but my wife is kind of a neat freak. I wouldn't call it annoying though, just a difference of opinion. It's just when you're sleep-deprived (sick kids...not fun), small differences of opinions can lead to arguments.

I might say her parents, but she complains about them way more than I do.

As for the Hathaway, no comment.
