I drive a 1987 LeBaron. It's older than I am. The coolest features I'd say are: It literally feels like driving a boat....or an army tank Dashboard is all electronic Everything works My favorite feature, though, is that there are only 38,500 miles on it. That's what happens when you buy a car who's only previous owner was an 85 year old woman.
The AWS are going to be quite valuable in the next ten years -- clean ones are rare. If I could find a AWS/ ABS SI with a leather interior I would buy it on the spot (if in decent shape) -- they are extremely rare. One of a select few cars from the 80s and early 90s that will actually have some value as they become classics.
Used to have a 929 that did the same thing... My favorite though was the Toyota Crown with its innovative -- at the time -- fridge-cooler. It was a sweet ride.
