you know what is assuring? Since we are 0-4 now, I believe things can't get any worse than that, so you can just relax and even the losing record went on, I would just shrug it off

this team right now, without chemistry is simply bad

Come on, that Mavs team played against Don Nelson, the coach that built the damn Mavs team.

    And Avery Johnson sucks.

You've all got it wrong. They won 67, not 65. And they started 0-4, not 0-3 or 0-5. After the 0-4 start, they got hot and went 14-3. Then they got STUPID hot and went 38-2 over the next 40 games.

If the Rockets do that, I will get eye surgery to look like Yao Ming, and a haircut to look like Von Wafer. Yes, a Celtics player. That's how crazy I'll get if the Rox go on a 38-2 run!

(And then, if we lose in the first round, I'll jump off a tall building downtown.)

At what point does a win-less team reach that milestone where no NBA starting off that badly has ever made the playoffs?

    0-5?
    0-6?
    0-7?

Has any 0-8 team ever made the playoffs, for example?

I believe after the first month, the record should be able to somewhat tell you how this team would fare this season.

I believe a Phoenix Suns team started out 0-10 and still made the playoffs....it was in the late 90's IIRC...have a feeling they had the Kidd/Johnson backcourt...memory's a little off...

Either way, it doesn't matter. We're talking about this team. This year. This moment in time. History counts for nothing.

In reality you are going to have some losing streaks in basketball. Sometimes even four game losing streaks. I bet I could find a bunch of good teams who lost four consecutive games at some point last season.

It feels rough right now, but we had a very tough start to the schedule, and every game was a close contest. The real Rockets are not a bad team... whether they are more than average... remains to be seen.

Its not like we are getting blown out, 4 games has shown us, we could of won those.

I would be more worried if we got blown out by 10+ for each game and didn't play all 4 quarters.

Only 78 more games to go.
