Man am I glad there are more U2 fans here. They are hands down, my favorite band. For your poll, Manny, I just picked the song on your list I liked the most, One. But I can honestly say that there isn't a U2 song I don't like. IMHO, Achtung Baby is by far their best album. All the songs on that album are great and so freakin original. I'm popping the CD in right now as we speak. Well here's my top 10 list, in no particular order of course. 10. With Or Without You 09. Pride (in the name of love) 08. Bullet the Blue Sky 07. Desire 06. One 05. Even Better Than The Real Thing 04. Mysterious Ways 03. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me 02. Beautiful Day 01. Stay (Faraway, So Close!) Pop was a good album, I always think the video and the name of the song Discoteque turned people off, but there are some good songs on there like Starring at the Sun, If God Will Send His Angels, Do You Feel Loved, Last Night On Earth, and my favorite one on there, Gone. Did anybody else see them in 2001 when they were in Houston or anywhere else in the country for that matter? Great show. Best concert I've ever been to, but then again, I never got to see them during Zoo TV.
Where is it hidden? I just bought the 2 disc version after my regular best of got scratched pretty badly.
This board influences me too much. I just went out and bought the 2-disc edition of Best of 1980-1990...too many good songs to pass up.
"October" is also on that second album. Nice song. I think "Pride" has that certain j'nais sais quois that is U2. Good song.
