I come here for the updates, rockets, news, whatever...

I also have a soft spot for the bbs memes

I wish the Clyde Drexler one of "Ha Ha Ha, and things just keep getting worse for ....." had caught on more.

Whoever made that one picture of it is my hero

To be fair, I plan on being here on a less frequent basis. As Danny Glover once said, "I'm getting too old for this ****."

I actually think my flame-out last Saturday was done to self-destruct on here.

It really is a younger man's game.

And its certainly a left handed game in D&D at that.

Sad really that D&D will turn into H&K after they run all the non-left out. (H&K = hugs & kisses)

There's a handful of reasonable conservatives that represent well in the D&D and are treated with LOTS of respect.

The ass-clown brigade, however, can happily pack their s*** and go.

Interesting. I wonder what D&D would look like without the "ass-clown brigade". And btw, just who is in that brigade?

None-the-less, the "handful" of conservatives is just that, a handful of conservatives amongst a hoard of liberals. And when the poo starts flying the conservatives don't have enough people to fling the poo back.

The correct phrase is "pack their knives and go..."

    And you are incorrect.

I used to be one of the reasonable conservatives. I can actually search and find BJ saying this before he became the version he is now.

Mad Max and rockets_judoka aren't "reasonable conservatives." They flat out sit in the middle.

I thought I was one on here, but you can only be called a "moron" so many times before you react in similar fashion.

The conservatives I'm referring to don't fling poo, and don't get poo flung at them, either.

The people who exist in that forum merely to provoke mudslinging from other posters really are getting tired in my eyes.

I used to be one, but those days are long gone.

The only thing that separates you from the other "reasonable" conservatives is your delivery. Which can often be... to put it mildly... about as subtle as a brick through a window.

    The personality conflicts between posters.

Oddly enough, this is actually listed as one of the options for the WORST things about CF, but I would put it as the best. At least it's the most entertaining. (FYI, I'm not talking about the children in the GARM)

    I'm twisted like that.

    LOL. Fair enough.

And I just realized I've been Groogruxed! D&D is no longer an available thread.
