What is the best radio station in Houston for Rockets talk?

He's awful. "UHHHHHHM ... I MEAN, COME ON! .... UHHHHH"

 

Definitely seconding 790. 1560 is not too bad either. They still sound like they're broadcasting in a tin can half the time, but their broadcast signal seems to be much improved these days.

I nominate these guys for best Rockets talk.

 

Time to start a campaign to get these guys on one of the stations for an hour every other day. 1560 could probably fit them in the schedule.

 

Hell no to this. Might as well stick a dagger in my eye.

 

I miss the nightly Rockets talk on 1560 with Raheel and Nuno. Truthfully, haven't really listened to 1560 since they went national, for the most part, with the exception of John and Lance.

Matt and Adam will talk Rockets and Charlie will do the same but for as much of a joke as 610 is, they do have good segments with Morey, Bull, AB and some other Rocket guys like Jason F. and the Radio guy.

 

It's hilarious, though. They don't really talk about sports. Don't be turned off by the Dallas part of it.

 

I have listened to those guys. If I wanted toilet talk, I would listen to Howard on Sirius.

I would rather listen to 610 sober.

I vote for 97.5... Nah, not really. I don't think they know a Rockets team exists.

My car radio couldn't get the AM stations for about a week so on the way home I'd have to listen to "The Drive" with Carl Dukes. It was either that, crappy radio station music, or silence. It was all dumbass Texans talk.

 

610 sucks. All they do is talk about the NFL or any football related topic and the freakin season is over. There was once where they talked about the Rockets for just 10 minutes then it was back to football again.

610 forgets that Houston has a basketball and baseball team. Geezzz, get off the Texans nuts 610. The same goes for ESPN 97.5. I love Carl Dukes as the host but when he gets Dave and that other asian chick the show goes down hill from there.

 

Looks like they just finished jacking their local 7-eleven store.

 

790 in the morning. At least Matt and Adam know whats happening with the team. They watch the games.
