Did I mention, guns from, Red Dead Redemption :grin: Above line was from a rap song lol. Point is, try RDR. You won't regret it. Very great story and gameplay. Same goes for Uncharted 2. Metal Gear Solid 4 got a 10 I believe on IGN. For great co-op action, try Resistance 2. Allows you and a friend to play splitscreen online/offline. MW2 is fun at first, then you'll eventually get really tired of the commando/last stand/painkiller/noobtubeOMA's and just say "**** it, where's Black Ops" That's about it. Obviously I'm a big shooter fan :grin: PS, only non-shooter I'd recommend is Heavy Rain, very fun stuff.
Madden is out now. As for other, older games try Uncharted 2, God of War III (if you haven't yet, get to it now!) and Heavy Rain. Another fun one is Buzz Quiz World if you have friends that come over regularly.
Not necessarily shooters....but still. gotta third (or is it fourth by now?) the recommendations for Uncharted (1 and 2)...excellent game(s) I realize its kinda old by now, but I am currently enjoying Assassin's Creed 2 and the next one should be out in Nov IIRC. but then again, I still play Fallout 3 and Oblivion from time to time, so what do I know of new games? also, wasn't there supposed to be a Infamous 2? I really enjoyed playing the first one and last time I checked, I recall seeing talk about a second one coming out at some point...but I hadnt bothered to keep up.
Forgot about that one. Yup, Assassin's Creed 2 is excellent as well. So is God of War 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Red Dead Redemption, and many more. But if you're choosing just one, it has to be Uncharted 2. Nothing else on the system is even close to it.
I wouldn't say these games are the best, but I enjoyed these games quite a bit. Demon's SOuls Nier Uncharted 2 GoW3 Call of Duty 4 Games that were not bad, but weren't great. Yakuza 3 White Knight Chronicles SF4 and SSF4 Resident Evil 5 Llittle Big Planet Metal Gear Solid 4 Devil May Cry 4 COD: MW2 FF13 Games I regretted purchasing; Blaze Blue Initial D (Japanese game) - Nothing like the arcade.... Still got more games I didn't care to list.
This is a fun game, especially onslaught mode online. Story is pretty fun too, can get a little repetitive.
Did not want to create a new thread but I am looking for a new game to buy. Has anyone here played yakuza 4? How is it? I am also looking into catherine. Any other suggestions?
Just want to mention that I have played most of the well known games including: uncharted 1 2 3, heavy rain, mgs4, battlefield, modern warfare, valkyria chronicles, batman arkham asylum, mass effect 2, god of war 1 and 2... I guess I am looking for a less well known game that is great :grin:
