I'm happy he finally got a tweet to gain traction though.

he's been trying for years to fool the masses.

Gordon to Memphis for Kyle Anderson, Tyus Jones or De’Anthony Melton (preferably Jones since he’s on an expiring contract, but would probably be the most unlikely to be dealt between the 2), and one of the Grizzlies first round picks

Thanks you are right. I was proposing that package including a 2024 frp (top 10 protected.) Not sure why the pick didn’t show up. I don’t think the top 10 protection is a game changer and I wouldn’t give up both Wood and Gordan for 1 frp. I think Precious makes up for a frp pick. This meets a lot of the qualifications that the Rockets should want. A young PF with upside, a first round pick and expirings.

The protection is something that may be easy for them to give up. They are on an upswing, Siakam/OG/Vanvleet are a nice core in their prime, they hit pay dirt with Barnes, now they are adding two very good pieces in Wood/Gordon. They are probably thinking, no way we’re bottom 10 team in 2024. And they’re probably right. But as we know, sht happens, injury bugs, disgruntled players, etc. Why not ask to get protection removed, if you’re ROX.

Trade deadline week is an annual event where we dream of glorious transaction upon glorious transaction, and we barely sleep at night in anticipation. Then at 2pm Thursday it finally leaks that we traded an aging role player for a 2nd rounder or pick swap sometime in the 30's

Not legit. Fake news. No way Suns will trade Payne ... they need him in the playoffs

what do you guys think? as much as i'd hate to give up Tate i'd love nothing more than to grab Pat Williams. He would let us draft BPA in the upcoming draft.

If we don't draft BPA every single time, we are acting foolishly.

I'm still holding out hope for a 1st round pick but it looks like either Gordon will finish the season as a Rocket or Stone will go for the Oladipo special and bring back a couple of expiring contracts and a pick swap.

If Gordon really does have planters fasciitis then he isn’t getting moved for a FRP.
