Hawks are struggling defensively and need another microwave scorer alongside Trae - they would love EGo.

They are also trying to unload JC but I'd rather have Jalen Johnson.

Hawks: EGo, DJ, Theis, Garuba + Bucks FRP
    Rockets: JC, Wright, Jalen Johnson

    Wright/Jaygup/Snipa
    KPJ/Thriller/Nwaba
    Mathews/Tate/KJ
    JCollins/JJohnson
    Wood/Sengun

Both JC and JJ can play small ball 5 as well.

Hmm. I dig it. But it's a bit messy. Giving up both Garuba and an FRP to trade Gordon feels steep, though I know Collins is sought after. Mavs are recently in the news for him.

Wright is OK as a throwaway expiring and Johnson is intriguing low risk high upside, but Collins is expensive depending on where you believe his ceiling is. Like Wood he feels like a #3 piece. A year or two ago I would've been hyped.

I guess it's as good as anything if you just want to move bodies around and inject new blood into the team. But I'd be looking to flip Wood in tandem with this. Collins/Wood as a $39M frontcourt is going to be erratic on defense at best.

I wouldn't trade Wood. Bigs who get 20/10 and who can defend the parameter are rare. Wood need inside help, Tate is too small.

I would love to see Wood, Sengun and Turner up front.

“Trash” is a bit far. It’s give us a flexible option along with a FRP.

True. I just like Lonzo Ball but not worth the overpay.

If you assume that Green and whoever we pick this year are #1 and #2, then he fits in very nicely at #3 down the road. I'd love to have him, but I really want to see the team make upgrading PG a priority.

Rubio is injured this year and moving back to Europe when his kid hits school age. Not sure his head is in the game that much anymore.

Me too .... problem is there just doesn't appear to be much available in the draft or FA at the PG spot.

If Rockets can trade for Simmons, I'd have no qualms trading Wood for Turner.

Turner and Simmons would be a great fit next to Thriller.

These 2 acquisitions (Simmons and Turner) would allow Rockets to take BPA next draft instead of reaching for a big.

It will also eliminate FA need to upgrade at PG.

Houston In: De'Aaron Fox, Alex Len
Sacremento In: Eric Gordon, Christian Wood, BKN first (and maybe a future second)

    Fox/Brooks
    Green/Christopher
    KPJ/Mathews
    Tate/KJ
    Sengun/Len

Would never happen, but I really like Fox's game and we'd have him for 5 years. More bigs in this year's draft, Sengun gets more minutes and KPJ moves to the wing and gets to just play instead of learning a new position.

Fastest backcourt in the league if that happened

Might have to bring back Dantoni's 7 seconds or less offense

I think we'd probably play better with the lineup we currently have if we did that tbh. But yeah, I think it'd be pretty hard for any team to keep up with our pace. If both KP and Green hit all-star level with Fox as the PG we'd definitely be a contender with good defenders around them, and that's not even factoring Sengun, Christopher and whoever else we draft.
