I know everyone's been saying how much Dragic will get paid this summer, and I was just wondering what everyones favorite 3 pt. shooter will get. For comparison another 3 point sharpshooter, Kyle Korver, signed a contract for 15 million over 3 years with the Bulls in 2010. I don't think he'll get that much, but I think quite a few teams could use a nice 3 pt. shooter off their bench. What do you guys think? [poll coming soon]
I think he is underrated, in the winning streak, all the media focused on Lin, but Novak was a key player during that time, and he keeps playing good, but dont read a lot about him, or maybe I havent hear a lot about him, and idk if in NY, they talk a lot about him.
He's currently the league leader in 3pt%, and he's been great for the Knicks this year. I'm really happy that he found a role somewhere, and looks to stick around in the NBA.
I wonder if he'll get overpaid like Jason Kapono did. Novak is awesome, though. Definitely one of my favorite players. I agree with JVG, he's the best shooter in the world.
i am guessing he is going to get a deal thats like 10/mil for 3 years ...korver is a bit more versatile than Novak is who is an amazing spot up shooter - korver will come off of curls and all which Novak hasn't really done. the thing that probably hurts Novak the most in getting an even bigger deal was that he wasnt invited to 3pt shootout this season had he won it would have raised his profile significantly. Given his success he probably will be invited next season (or he should be) Glad to see him having success in the league he kept bouncing on teams but kept working hard good to see it payoff for him. Maybe Morey re-signs him in the offseason?? -- One can only dream
I see him getting perhaps a little bit below the full MLE. Something along the lines of 4 yrs/15 mil?
Right on the nose. 4 yr's 15 mil. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...ree-agency-novak-stays-knicks-4-year-15m-deal
