I don't see why people are hung up on this guy. He's signing deals that make it obvious he doesn't really care about coming over and he's not even the best PG on Real Madrid. He's been stagnant for ages and has choked twice in a row with a team that's absolutely stacked by Euroleague standards.

Ive spoken about him a lot in the past.
The skill that better translates to the NBA with him is defense. That's why he's that wanted by the Rocket. He's very competitive, he has great motor and stamina, he has very good lateral quickness, he has the body strength to pass the screens and the size the defend the position, and he's a smart guy. He has all the tools to be a very effective defender even in the NBA.

Offensively he's not very skilled, but no doubt he is explosive and is a shooter with NBA range.

Always confident and winning mentality. He's a very good looking role player for any winning team.

He absolutely has to be better than Lin right? Because if the answer is no, I don't want to keep having any hopes for this guy to come over.

Also, how would his shooting translate in the NBA? Someone said he shot 34% from 3 last year. Is he mainly shooting spot ups or 3s off the dribble? Thought he was a better shooter than 34%. And isn't the international 3pt line shorter than NBA?

he shoots 60% on 2 point attempts which is very good for a guard. if he can expand his range a bit more outside he can be a dynamic offensive player

Same as his status will always be, he's never coming over.

He would be the perfect and cheapest replacement for Lin as a bigger playmaking guard. And he's a good shooter. Nothing indicates he's interested in coming over this year though. Maybe next year.

He's a career 39% 3 pt shooter in ACB league. He is not a shooting PG, but he can make the three. I see him matching Beverley's 36% of this past season. Anyway, he's more a slasher than a shooter, he really attacks the basket.

As well as I said "80% not coming this year" (at the least), I'd give an 80% chance that he is playing some day in the NBA. What we don't know is if it will be in Houston or in another place.

    Bump.

Were possible down to our last strike with Bosh. If we trow enough money at Llul could he possibly be our major free agent signing?

I wouldn't call Llull signing "major", but it would certainly be a notable signing if it happened.

I'd consider him a quality third rotation guard. But I'm no expert on Llull.
