Haha your logic is ridiculous. There is reason to believe that there is something to hide by having several offshore accounts and refusing to release his taxes as everyone else in his position has. "Well...then Nobama cheated at scrabble last week!" Get real.
Why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account? A secret Bermuda corporation? Tax shelter investments in the Caymans?

Why does it need to be criminal to suggest people should know? Romney's entire basis for his campaign is his success in the private sector and knowing business/finance/etc. Given that, don't you think his finances would be central to weighing the merits of his campaign? One of his central policy prescriptions relates to taxes, simplifying the tax code, and repealing FinReg - does it not seem relevant to you to better understand whether there is a personal motive in this or how these things would affect him directly? These seem like basic questions, given that they are at the core of his argument of why Americans should elect him president.
The answer to your question is in the video you posted. By position I meant running for president as a parties official candidate.
Yes, and if I were him, I would definitely release my tax records. Not for any moral reasons but just as a political strategy. I'm complaining about comments like these from Robert Gibbs Suggesting somebody broke the law with no evidence is a bunch of bs to me. Atleast, for a political campaign. So a presidential candidate should release tax information, but a Congressional candidate doesn't need to? Why the difference?
Fair enough - but that's pretty standard politics. Anytime someone hides something, people start making accusations and assume the worst. I agree that it's ridiculous, but there's nothing unique here compared to what the GOP does to Obama or what any other candidates do to each other.
Not the question at hand, please don't change the subject. We're talking about Mitt Romney, presidential candidate, and him not doing something everyone else in his position has done. Do you have anything to say to this matter.
I said he should release his crap and the Democrats should stop accusing him of crimes w/o evidence. Are you of the opinion DWS should release all her tax information? I guarentee you she is not the only person in Congress who hasn't released their tax information. People don't always like others knowing how much they make/have. I don't.
What crime has he been accused of, can you please link me to which democrat or poster here has accused him of a crime? To my understanding the question that others and myself have been asking is "why", because this is extremely unusual and somewhat suspicious. No I do not, and I do not believe it is common practice for a congressman or congressional candidate to do so.
Tax Evasion So as a voter, you care about the tax records of the president but not of a Congressional candidate?
Me neither, I hate people all up in my business. That is one of the reason I'm not (currently) running for president since it would be expected of me as it is with Mitt Romney to release my taxes. It comes with the territory. Can we both agree to that?
That article doesn't point to him being accused of a crime, no where in the video that goes with the article is he being accused of a crime. Just as I said, they are questioning his motives and what he could possibly be hiding. If you could point me to him being accused of a crime I'd appreciate it. No I do not, how does this come into play with Mitt Romney not releasing his taxes?
