Whereas I too would like to see Romney's tax returns since he was governor of MA, I would love to see Obama unseal his records or even compel his staff to release their last five years of federal tax return. Afterall, 36 of them refused. Also, many of them including Obama's press secretary, have secret Swiss bank accounts. In addition, I would like to see Harry Reid's tax returns for the past five years. When I lived in Las Vegas for three years in the late 1980s, my office was directly above the office of the Clark County Democratic chairman. He told me that Harry Reid got most of his funds from the casinos in exchange for some nefarious quid pro quos. BTW, is Timothy Geithner still cheating on his taxes?
Here's the difference between Obamas certificate and the tax returns: There was lots of compelling evidence that Obama was born in America and very little to support claims otherwise. As a political move, baiting crazy people into representing the GOP in public and then smacking them in the face with the actual certificate was brilliant. Romney doesn't have much to gain. In theory, he could work democrats into a tizzy, but democrats won't look nearly as crazy. Romney hiding something in his tax returns isn't as hard to believe that someone traveled back in time and placed a birth announcement in a newspaper to later put a secret kenyan muslim into the white house to be legislatively stonewalled by an opposition party just so he could bail out the banks. The political calculation makes it look more and more like Romney really does have something to hide
I could care less about Obama's suspicious birth certificate -- his mother was a Kansan. What I care about is why he sealed all of his records that should be public record. What I care about is why no one ever mentions his bat-sh-t crazy book where most of his friends and girlfriends are imaginary, oh, I mean, "composites."

You want Democrats rumaging around in Romney's records for something they can use. Where is the quid pro quo? I want to know what Obama and his closest staff members are hiding. They could even start with releasing the unredacted Fast & Furious documents.

If Obama doesn't come clean, I can't see why Romney should open himself up to attack. You know Obama ordered the murders of two federal agents and that i s why he and Holder won't release the unredacted records of Fast & Furious. The records would lead directly back to their criminality.

That's not too farfetched. Nothing is beyond Obama's sense of punitive justice when it comes to people who oppose him. He preaches protecting the poor and plans to shaft them like no one in history ever has. He claims openness and is secretive far beyond anything Nixon ever conceived.
So tell me, GR, how has Obama demonstrated his "transparent government?" For example, will he tell us how much he pocketed on the Solyndra half billion dollar loan?
