(The word player is in here so we can exclude Les, Darryl, and Kevin.)

Everything except PF? And even there who knows if any of them will be good.

    1. Center (by a mile)

    and .. . .

    2. Power Forward (everyone acts like we have budding superstars at this position, when in reality it may be a bigger question mark than center, because the guys are simply unproven or haven't shown that potential for higher level NBA production).

I actually think the Rockets are fairly solid in the back-court.

Terrence Jones can man the 4 heavily if needed. He's NBA ready.

Center is the weakest link at least offensively.

Hard to say right now without knowing how Asik or Lin perform.

Also woefully thin at SF behind Parsons tho Delfino could see time at the position. Unless of course you think Royce White or Marcus Morris will contribute there.

    Breaking down the roster -

    PG
    Lin
    Douglas
    Machado
    Fortson

    SG
    Lamb
    Martin
    Delfino
    Livingston

    SF
    Parsons
    Morris

    PF
    Patterson
    Motejunas
    Jones
    Aldemir
    Brockman
    Forbes
    Johnson
    White
    Simpson

    C
    Asik
    Smith
    Williams
    Harrellson

Most expect Martin to be gone eventually but the Delfino signing softens that blow. SG should be OK at worst.

At Center , I think Asik and Smith with Patterson getting minutes there will be servicable.

    The PF spot is loaded.

Comes down to SF and PG and how Lin plays .... and how many minutes Parsons can handle.

Center is a given, should be what is our second weakest position.

Every one of them, but most important of all, we need a GM.

You guys voting center, where does Asik rank of the 30 starting centers in the NBA? Tell me all the starting centers that are better than him.

There's so much we don't know at this point. It's kind of too early to say, but it looks like Center is currently our weakest link considering Asik's offensive weaknesses and our lack of a clear backup. However, this could be entirely wrong :)

I keep seeing it, but still not believing it - Royce White is not a three. I don't think he has the speed for the position (nor the shooting ability).

Center and a distant second PG.

I voted SF, but I forgot about and I'm not familiar with Delfino. I think Asik is a better starter than Parsons. The backup SF's (not counting Delfino) are about as promising as the backup C's.
