Next move? Working with the Devil's Biatch to solidify the backup point position (keeping Mooch). Simultaneously exploring other *cheap* options to do so. Next, shoring up the 5. The lower the balls go on Jackson, the easier the alternatives. Both actions must be pursued in unison, as the cap is close, and Mooch would need to be signed after the 5 acquisition, but another pickup would have to come before said acquisition (but signing another guard would probably make said acquisition impossible anyway)... So, getting Mooch to agree (not sign yet, just agree to) to a contract will come first. We probably won't hear about it until after a 5 signing, though. If we hear that they're signing another PG/SG before then, though, then it probably means that a deal on a 5 didn't materialize, and we lose both.
Next move? Sign a backup 1 and a backup 2. Trade or release Walt Williams. Rice makes him redundant. WRT depth at the 5, the Rocks just need to keep Pig Miller's agent's phone number handy.
