In essence you are trading positions with this trade , a Sf for a PG.You do realize Brooks is surely better than holiday?? What is keeping them from trading him if a better PG is on the table?? would chnage trade to make numbers work buy adding JJeff and maybe a pick to sweeten the deal but other than that its a good trade. Rox..... Lowry/Holiday Martin/Lee Iggy/Williams Scola/Hill Yao/Miller Philly..... Brooks meeks/Bud Turner Brand hawes
Why can't we simply do a 3 for 2, 4 for 3, or 4 for 2 with the other team adding a few fillers? We HAVE to have oversized contracts to be able to deal? I don't get it.
Once again.. Holiday will be a better overall PG then AB and he will only get better. The guy is averaging close to 14ppg/7 dimes/4 boards/2 steals a game.
Is AB better then Holiday? Jrue is already a better distributor, defensive player and his shooting is comparable. Sixers don't ask him to score as much as the Rox ask of AB so not saying he is better but it isn't as clear cut.
Wow, J.Smith and J.Smith JR. (aka T.Will) on the same team!!.............thats crazy!!! Dunks ,dunks and more diunks...........
Hell to the Nah Holiday is not better than Brooks.....Your talking about a guy who averaged (atleast) 20pts a game last year and minus the steals the other stats are not that eye popping of a difference.Brooks won MIP.....you dont win that by being a slouch. I seriously doudt Holiday will ever be a 20pt PG....Book it. and they dont ask him to score why?? because they win so much and have a roster full of ballers huh?!!SMH.....im suer you know!!
Iggy, Brand, Meeks, Young and Williams...not about "ballers", it's about how the team is constructed. By the way if Yao wouldn't have had a glass foot, AB wouldn't have averaged 20ppgs last year. Holiday averages almost 2 more dimes per game and plays defense...again not say he is better but your making it sound like the guy is a scrub compared to AB.

I have a question, let's say the Knicks need to get around the "can't have no first round picks for two straight years" rule. If they acquire a pick that is severely protected, does that allow them to get out from under the rule? Randolph for a lottery protected pick would be a steal.
I could see Morey putting together a package to get Blake Griffin. Luis Scola is my favorite player, but Blake Griffin is definitely a greater force to be reckoned with down low.
Carmelo Anthony is not the type of player the Rockets need. I wish that we could all quit talking about going all in for him. The guy is constantly out of position on the floor. He doesn't ever try on help defense. He jacks up too many shots. Frankly, I think he is a selfish player. He is totally concerned with averaging around 30 points a game, regardless of how it much harm it does to the team unit. Did you see the Nuggets lose to the Knicks? That game is confirmation that Carmelo Anthony is a lazy stat collector. If he hustled as much as he stands around, he could be one of the greatest of all time. But he doesn't. Don't get me wrong, the Rockets could use a guy who could will the team to victory in the final moments of the game, but not when that guy consistently hurts the team during the first 46 minutes of the game.
I can't imagine why it wouldn't. However, I doubt Denver would be all that impressed by a 15-30 range pick. That's where it's going to eventually end up anyway.
You don't think that Blake Griffin would do better with the Rockets? It would be blasphemous for him to stay with the Clippers.
We have too many SGs now. Martin Lee Williams All deserving of time, one of them has to go......and I know that Battier and Bud are wings but they are both over 6'7" tall.....they are small forwards.... Williams is stronger, but he is CLee's size.....we still need some size, I would like to get a SF in the 6'9" or greater range.... DD
Where exactly has Morey made a move or series of moves to where he should be fired? We just traded a 2nd round bench fodder and a 2012 lottery protected first for lottery talent and an early 2011 2nd round pick.
