  1. a mid first rounder

  2. a late first rounder

  3. two late first rounders

  4. three late first rounders

  5. a key piece in a deal for a young/veteran starter

Nobody is going to give a 1st for him…seriously. He last this long for Houston because he run his own personal plays and Silas accepts it. KPJ is a good NBA player and is a proven score, but he is not going to listen to coaches.

I guess the org would have to be smart enough to play Honcho at 6th man to get Hondo.

For now, they should start be having a point-guard on the roster. Not a fat one, not an 18 year old one, not a shooting guard.

OP is clearly biased. There's no choice between 1st round pick and cut him yesterday. How about 2nd round picks?

It's this kind of polarizing, you either think he's valuable or trash, that makes meaningful discussion very difficult.

The thing is, as I posted, we would have to take like 10M in salary back when trying to trade him. Woild need to try either for a valuable player who is unwilling to re-sign with his current team (in which case we would likely have to add a pick or two), or we would have to take back another headcase or bad contract.

Either way, we should trade KPJ, fire Silas, and bulld around our best player Sengun as the main franchise player, with Jabari, Jalen, Tari as parts of the core, and KMJ, Garuba, TyTy as parts of the extended core.

bet you any money there are coaches hed listen to...or the teammates eg that would punch him if he disobeys...if your culture is that weak that a KPJ, a talented player but a slight headcase wont listen then your culture never gonna work anyway...

love how they gave name lebron to that stat and it has nothing to do with being a meaningful abbreviation... just goes to prove how arbitrary the cute dumbalytics is most of the time and what they are willing to do just to sell their trash

No way any team is trading anything, even a 2nd round pick, for KPJ. There's a reason you see other team's players comment on how the Rockets should be building around Alperen and Jalen. No one gives a **** about KPJ. They also see his bad attitude in game, see him quit on plays, leave his teammates hanging, and ignore teammates trying to communicate with him. Everyone in the league knows KPJ is a black hole and a cancer. No one wants to play with him.

Just cut him and take the $20M hit for next season from the extension that Stone should have never given him. Addition by subtraction.
