DUDE, where are you getting this from?

    I don't see Bonzi's name mentioned anywhere.

Hayes iffy for game against Clippers

Rockets forward Chuck Hayes, who left Monday's game in the first quarter with a strained left shoulder, is considered "day-to-day" with his availability to play Wednesday likely not to be decided until late that afternoon.

"I'm fine," Hayes said late Monday. "It's just strained."

Hayes has been effective offensively in recent weeks, making 21 of 29 shots in his past six games.

Rockets center Dikembe Mutombo, who has been on the inactive list the past two games, is also expected to return soon.

He did not travel to Oklahoma City for Sunday's game but was with the team on Tuesday. Bonzi Wells, who has also been inactive, also traveled for the game against the host Clippers at 9 p.m. Wednesday.jonathan.feigen@chron.com

    oh, thanks bud.

    I didn't see that.

Good news, we're going to need that dude to play and play well if we're going to have a real shot against any of the big three.
