It really, really doesn't. If they took over some wildlife building out in the middle of nowhere it would be just the same as these crazies doing it now....you just think that it would be different because you are a bit racist. It's okay, I understand and forgive you for your shortcomings.
Yes, I forgot the law only matters in the inner cities. Of course Ferguson is a tiny town of 20,000 so yeah. Derp. Incredibly stupid points as usual. Nice work, Bobby.
SMH, you are an incredibly stupid person and it hurts sometimes. Ferguson is a town of 20k.....but it happens to be part of the St Louis metro area which has 3 million people in it. I know I'm asking a lot from you here, but don't you think that just MAYBE that there are more resources available to combat riots in the middle of a metropolitan area of 3 million than there would be in a county out in the middle of nowhere with a population of 6,000? Also, and this is almost certainly beyond your comprehension, don't you think that police would respond more quickly to riots burning down companies and vandalizing civilian targets vs some people taking over a wildlife building out in the middle of nowhere and just sitting there?
they should be removed without prejudice, but since when did the left oppose sit-ins/occupation/disruption?
There is kind of a large difference between sit-ins/occupation/disruption and an armed takeover of a federal facility.
What are people proposing the government do? They are on scene, trying to negotiate a peaceful end to this idiotic situation. If the yahoos escalate this into a shooting confrontation, you can pretty much guarantee they'll be met with force. You also can pretty much guarantee that no matter the outcome, the yahoos will be seeing the inside of a federal court or a morgue.
This is what they have "taken over"... It's basically a seldom used outpost in rural Oregon. If they stay there forever it will amount to a hill of beans and no one will care or be inconvenienced. This is why the story is not getting traction, IMO.
I'm far from being a racist i can just tell the difference there is no way in hell it would be the same LE would have stormed the building by now.So you are forgiving for your short sided views.
NO. Law enforcement would not have stormed the building. Thats just asking for trouble and deaths - Remember, they tried that in Waco and it ended very badly. They've learned from those mistakes. I do think the fact that they are in the middle of nowhere, away from people and businesses has a LOT more to do with how this situation is being handled. If they were in a business district in a city, then yes, it would be much different.
Since when the people doong them carried guns and talk about killing and dying and establishing a training camp for an armed group?
I think it's safe to say that if it were Muslims doing this, people would demand action, and the irrational level of fear regarding ISIS would grow. Republican candidates would be talking about it day and night, and plenty would claim it was all Obama's fault.
I largely agree. A violent raid is the worst thing that could happen. It puts both the LE and national guard involved in danger but also could potentially makes martyrs of these people. With Ruby Ridge and Waco we saw how ham handed actions inspired others to go out and kill more people. These people have been listening rhetoric about the tree of liberty being watered by the blood of tyrants and patriots and probably in their minds have already bought into the romantic image of dying at the hands of the jack booted thugs, WOLVERINES! Less likely what they might've considered is just sitting around for day after day as their food runs out, toilets back up, and inevitable boredom of sitting around with the same guys who haven't had a good shower in weeks. Heck it will do more to defuse the situation and also show how silly these guys are if a few weeks from now Federal troopers are seen handing out Big Macs to these guys than driving an APC to their door.
I wonder which states have the most Indian reservations, national forests, national parks, and the Rocky Mountains.
