I don't understand how anyone is worried. This team (more or less) bloodied the Lakers with a combination of big Yao down low and then small ball. Every time LA adjusted to our halfcourt offense with Yao, Rick would substitute in smaller/quicker players and we would run off a quick 10 points. Once they adjusted to that he went back to Yao.

This is going to be so sweet with the addition of Budinger and the growth of guys like Lowry, Brooks and Landry. The coach will literally have two opposite styles at his disposal every night and each one is deadly in short bursts.

He's going to sulk, becomes a drama queen and then an attention w****. He starts to backstab the team and runs his mouth all over the media.

His fans are going come here to make useless threads and be dicks to all the players who actually contribute. They will wage war on Rockets front office and RA. They will waste every minute of their spare time bashing team ball while ignoring our winning record. They will gloat about past personal glory, the good old days without injury and vaginal wall breach.

Oh wait a minute, all of these are actually another player who's about to be traded. Thank god.[/size]

Traded for somebody that can play more than 70 games.

Rockets aren't unlucky with injuries. They have purplosely kept their 2 biggest walking injuries around, instead of trading them.

Slow down the offense a bit, have Yao be the focal point of the offense, and have Yao play less minutes. Yao's value on defense will always and has always been greater than Tmac's.

The Rockets will have the best chemistry in the NBA next year and we will finally be the ones to overthrow the Lakers with their (finally) over-the-hill wings in Kobe and Artest.

The Rockets as we are currently configured will be vastly different looking next year (see my sig), but as always under the regime of Morey and Adelman we will be filled with high character high heart guys that play unselfishly and for the sake of winning only. Yao counts as one of those guys, and the papers will be filled with a multitude of quotes on his part about how he finally has a team that thinks the same way he does and shares his drive to play together and win.

Also, Landry will be our leading scorer, heck Morey might even give him his new extension this offseason rather than wait.

I cannot wait for this era to end. I have been waiting for it ever since T-Mac declared himself out for the season to Stephen A last February. As JVG has always said (and we know exactly to whom he was referring now), "the hardest thing to do is to coach an aging star". Well next year, maybe even next week, we won't have that problem anymore.

He's gonna help us win a championship alongside D-Wade next season.

I think this impacts Yao's view of the Rockets more than we would like to think. In the time he's been here, 2 of his very close friends have left on bad terms. That may hinder his perception a bit, I odnt know. But I wouldnt be surprised if this leaves a bit of a bitter taste for him.

They're gonna play a 1/2 court game when Yao is playing and when he is resting on the bench they will run and gun... Book it.
