What is going through Rick Adelman's mind right now?

    If Adelman was the head coach there is always the possibility that D12 does not come to Houston. In Adelmans system the center and pf play more at the high post and facilitate the offense. The other 3 players essentially find the open spot through a cut to the rim or create spacing for the 3 point shot. It is a staple of the Princeton offense. Whereas McHale much prefers the low block and where Dwight, in my opinion, is much better at creating space for himself and others.

    That Minny team is going to be high tempo, high scoring, zero defense, basically us without Asik last season, it's tailor made for Rick.

    Yes I know he's had good defensive teams, but it was never really him.

    Yes, they will be awesome. I thought last year was going to be their breakout season, but that team was just completely devastated by injuries, it wasnt even fair.

    Probably feeling cursed. Star player injuries seem to follow Rick from team to team: Webber, Tracy, Yao, Rubio, Love...

    I agree the wolves (injury free) will make the playoffs. They will have a smooth running offense, but will struggle on defense.

    McHale cried about roster moves a lot this year too. I love Adelman and I'm warming up to McHale, but letting coaches make roster moves always seems to end poorly (see Philadelphia 76ers)

    Adelman is too arrogant to think that he made a mistake. I am sure that he thinks that the Rockets are good despite Morey and that HE would have them even better.

    He got the money and control that he wanted in Minnesota. He moved on and so should Rockets fans. Next year Minnesota will be better and may make the playoffs if they are healthy.

    Lets not get to carried away. This all happened with a little luck on our side. I mean all the Warriors had to do was say yes to Klay Thompson and Harden never makes it here. Without Harden there is no Howard. Without both of them this offseason we let Kevin martin walk and sign Iggy and Josh Smith if we are lucky. That gives us a lineup of Asik, Smith Parsons Iggy and Lin. Not bad but not the lineup we currently have.

    I do give Morey credit for being opportunistic. He deserves that.
