There's a video out there of a Harden-Durant-Westbrook threesome and they know it's about to be leaked. Explains all 3 of their terrible performances thus far in the playoffs.
1 is ****ing annoying because it was made by a so called rockets fan. Wish I could punch that dude in the face
Possibly. This is exactly why Morey needs to get a third all-star as insurance when Harden starts disengaging from games.
There is definitely something wrong with Harden.. he wasn't in the middle of that huddle while Dwight was and Dwight wasn't playing during that time. Harden needs to step up being a leader even if his shot isn't falling.
When opponents defend you hard, you play harder to frustrate them and get them into foul trouble. That's no other alternative. All super stars get extra physical treatment in the play off. And it's situation like this you prove your worth.
The Rockets need to find him ways to score without having to do so for himself. Unfortunately, he hasnt learned that with these Rockets personnel. He may just feel the Rockets have switched to playing a halfcourt style of basketball that is slowly making him a watcher/chucker than he needs to be. But tonight we got a glimpse of what this offense can be if Lin can become that PG. Unfortunately, we havent seen this consistently. I truly believe that if Bev wasnt sick, Lin wouldnt have had the chance to show his importance to the team. There is zero question that he made some stupid game changing plays, but a lot of times, he is off the bench cold and not within the offensive flow. However, when Lin integrates himself well during the course of the time he is on the court, the Rockets are able to have Lin be the provider. He tried finding Asik in the post, Howard on the block, Parsons on the wing and in transition, and defers to James at the wing. As much flak as we gave the kid, he played very hard...and limited mistakes. Maybe perhaps the Rockets should accept that we wont necessarily be able to lock down Lillard with anyone on this roster, but the Rockets have to do the same by attacking them with our guards and force Lillard and Aldridge to guard. Playing Lin for a more consistent amount of time might just be an answer. Harden playing off the ball then becomes so much more of a legit threat... THE ANSWER TO GETTING HIM INVOLVED was seen with the last two sequences...pump fake and attack the rim on the baseline; have Lin attack the paint and then initiate the ball movement to the open shooter. The Rockets had 23 assists to their 14...that is truly winning basketball and if the Rockets want to be successful from here on out...As Mchale keeps harping...keep moving the ball!
as i've said many times, Harden's better suited to be a "robin" than a "batman." dude's talented no doubt but he just lacks that certain something...and the way he disappears in the playoffs last year AND this year is just a big no-no for a supposed "franchise player"
Ok I've conceived Matthews and batum have been solid defensively. But it's not like the league Is just now taking notice of harden. Didn't teams game plan for harden over 82 games? Seriously
My sources in Toyota Center said Harden has been doing Zen meditation intensively for 11 months and he achieved nirvana on March 23 at approximately 6:24 AM. This is coming from the very top. Any other tippy-top sources care to verify?
Harden needs to play sick for game 6. They can beat Portland without him. He almost lost that game for us. He needs to be replaced in the starting line-up by Daniels who at least is giving an effort on both ends of the court.
If you watch the Game 3 post game press conference, he was constantly coughing while he was on the stand. It's entirely possible that he's got the same bug that Beverly and Lin have had. What worries me is that Howard looked like he was feeling ill in the post game interview. He said he was exhausted, but he was doubled over at the beginning like he thought he was either about to puke or **** himself. If you look at his eyes in the interview, he looks like he's sick.
I doubt it. It has more to do with him learning to adjust to playoff basketball and the fact is that they will take his bread and butter away from him. So he needs to continue to diversify his game. If they overplay you on the left you have attack right. He needs to find a way to take more open shots when his iso isn't working for him. He can't get frustrated either. All of these things can be learned.
Yep. Nailed it. I've said this before. The other team will see this and play Harden the same way. If Harden cannot adjust, he is going to be ineffective not just in this series but for the rest of his career.
Haren is getting but hurt cause teammates are calling him out for lack if D. It was OK before since he was putting up points but if he can't score he needs to contribute on D. Haren is no longer the leader of the team. Dwight has stepped up and been vocal.
IF that is the case. The team is in H-Tow with the best health care in the world, get them some meds, iv, and plenty of rest before the game on Friday.
