I didn't ask for too much. Scrubs, That 70s Show, Bob Newhart DVDs. That new Abraham Lincoln book. Appreciative Astros fans (that'll never happen).
I don't expect, or want your run-of-the-mill "we'll get 'em next year!" or "at least nobody was injured." crappy Astro Fan. You sound like my mom. I won't deal with an apathetic Astro fan. But to think we've done anything remotely close to excitement in this off-season? You need a Christmas present of reality.
this debate even intrudes on Christmas threads! the thing i want the most? a green fitted cotton astros hat with a white shamrock on the back. rumor has it that it's already been purchased for me. i wait with eager anticipation.
How many teams have banners for "Best Offseason 2004"? All that matters are the games. Of course, even winning those didn't shut up half the whiners. Oh, can I add playing FFB in a money game to my xmas list?
I also would like for Vince Young to stop scratching my car when he washes it. He needs to get better or he will have no future!!
I am not expecting too much for Christmas this year (I feel somewhat embarrassed asking for gifts). What I want, though, more than anything is for my upcoming trip to Greece to turn out to be the best vacation I have ever had.
