    It’s true, we can get a top 5 pick for Nix. We just need to attach a better pick. 4th plus Nix for 5th, works.

    Mostly this, he's currently worth cash savings.

    The one thing I would add is that cash is usually worth a late 2nd round pick.

    At the end of the day, he's a gleaguer that the rockets gave a chance because we were tanking and he was young and at one time considered to have upside.

    And, as bad as Nix has been, he's not the only player we have with minimal trade value.

    He's not an NBA level player, but he could have NBA talent one day if he worked harder. Right now he has no trade value whatsoever.

    To clarify, he only has this value because the Rockets are under the cap and don't have to match incoming salary.

    IF they had to match salary, his deal would not qualify because only guaranteed money counts for matching purposes.

    Yeah, he could help a team slightly over the tax line duck it .....

    This must be a troll thread lol. Nix is one of the worst players in the NBA, likely the worst to get major minutes.

    Negative win shares, WS/48 got twice as worse his second year, lmao!

    So I’m a Tennessee titans fan and nix reminds me of Malik Willis ! I want both off the team cause I have seen enough and it’s disgusting.. I will celebrate and be just as happy as I was the day Jeremy Lin was off the rockets . Can’t win with players like that . Let’s him be somebody else’s problem

    This thread series should be a good one .... might be time to make the next chapter, Nix was probably the least interesting player to discuss as its pretty much unanimous that he's bad at basketball.

    (maybe load the dice to come up KPJ as I'd really like to see what the poll results would be)
