What is going to happen is that he will get better at FT line, 3pt will come next seasons, he will take more shots and will average 25-26 ppg.10-11 rpg, 7-8 apg. He will hire defensive coaches and work on his lateral movement, speed. He will be able to stay in front of guards. He will never be as good as Jokic but he will be 90.24% of him. Can he become MVP one day? No. Can we win the chip if he's only 90.24% of Jokic? Yes. Jabari will be as good as MPJ and we need a very reliable shooting guard.

He is a 21 yr old All star level talent. Considering some rookies are 2 yrs older than him I think Alpi can become a top 5 player I the league because of how far ahead of the curve he really is.

I have high expectations on Alpi I think he will at minimum be the 3rd best center in Rockets history surpass Yao Ming in the rankings.

I see no reason why he can not end up at MVP level. He is only 21. I think he could have come close to this last year if we actually had a NBA level coach who did not actively try to keep him down. He has already shown he works on his game in the offseason so he will continue to get better. The sky is the limit for him when he hits his prime. If we actually had a shooting guard who was good at shooting his assist numbers would already be higher. He always defers to teammates when they are around on the easy uncontested rebounds so he could be averaging 25/10/7 right now with better shooting support and being more selfish on rebounds. I see no reason why he can't become a 30+/12+/8+ player when he reaches his peak. Those are MVP level numbers.

Who cares? We'll know in 13-15 years. In the meantime, let's enjoy the ride and hope the owner pays up to not only keep him, but also keep a good team around him.

Im not worried about his defense and never have been really. He has physical limitations compared to some other players but so did Chuck Hayes. Hes a smart player who positions himself well and hes going to at least make it tough to get points against him.

I think how good he ultimately becomes will be based on how good his 3 point shot becomes.

I would’ve picked one had you asked 5 months ago, but I firmly believe that any cap to his ceiling is unfair as of right now. Simply I have no idea other than it is definitely not the last 3.
