Both T Jones and DMO were playing out of their minds before getting injured. The main thing for these two is staying healthy. I think the rest well fall into place

D-Mo, assuming he recovers fine, NEEDS to improve his rebounding. At the very least, if he is closest to the ball, he needs to rise up and aggressively grab at it, instead of just trying to box out or tip it. I don't care if he doesn't actually GET the rebound as long as he AGGRESSIVELY TRIES to get it.

He seems incapable of getting the ball and just going up with it. He always bends down for a dribble, giving defenders time to cover him up.

I do not know if you are right or wrong. With Bev on the floor every Rockets starter gets about 4+ rebounds a game. Team rebounding. It seems to me that if Motie boxes out his man on most occasions the Rockets will be fine in the rebounding department. But of course more rebounds is always great.

This first and foremost. But secondly and thirdly in my opinion is for both to try to be above 75% FT and get better on tracking the ball for rebounding offensively and defensively. The rest will fall perfectly into place if they can do these 3 things.

TJ and DMO are still young but that make jumps every year. Rockets just need them to remain healthy. TJ, Dmo, DH, and Capella is a really really nice big man rotation. Thats not even including if one of the rookies is able to help out this year after they do work in the dleague.

Being on our team masks his weaknesses to a rather large extent. That said, he still sucks at it, as we saw when Howard went out. Yes he lacks explosiveness, but even considering that, he is still way worse than I believe he should be. The reason for this is the way he goes for rebounds and when he just gets shoved around. That said, he was playing a position he is not used to, so we will see how he does playing next to Howard, Capela, and Hayes next season after he recovers.

Jones just needs to get completely healthy. He was playing very well before his injury. DMO needs to work on his rebounding. I really hope by the time the playoffs start we aren't missing Smoove
