I want to know, since when do Chicago have All Stars?

    J-Crossover,

You can't just say "If they don't get Williams, they'll just pick Wagner". That's like saying "If we don't get Francis to re-sign, we'll just stick with Moochie". Sure you can do that. You can drive with your feet, but that don't make it right!

Chandler is nothing near an All Star. Neither is Curry. But Ming brings Money, and we know Jerry Krause LOVES money.

Houston is in every position to hold the draft hostage, because they are in the position where they can deal with any team and get value - and screw the Bulls.

You explained over and over and said you all don't need JWill - so now you all don't need Ming either? Who do you need then? oh yeah, Elton Brand - whoops, traded him. Maybe Jordan? Whoops, drove him out of town. Maybe Duncan? Snowball's chance in you-know-where.

The Bulls need anyone they can get. Plain and simple. If the Rockets don't like Ming, there will be many suitors for that #1 pick to take Williams (or even Ming), one of which will be the Bulls. And if they want to be sure they get the player they want, they will have to give up something of value to get it. That's how the draft works.

Oh yeah, and I say we all stop posting unless someone has cracked this case or until Doc Rocket, Troy, Clutch, or Oily-P respond. If you wanna talk Bulls vs. Rockets, get your own thread. :p

What does any of this have to do with Chicago having an All-Star? You saying Chandler isn't an all-star means nothing. Of course he isn't. He is 1 year out of H.S. Same with Curry. You think Ming is going to come in an be an all-star? Ok, buddy...

Your comparison between Francis and Moochie is way off. Williams and Wagner are a whole lot closer in talent. We could also just take Dunleavy. Just face the facts, you aren't getting anything good from us. Everyone knows that you are going to take Ming so why would they throw a great trade at you?

About Odom, if Gentry says "We really want to keep Odom around a long time because he is our best talent" then that doesn't sound like they are are desperate to move him for a prospect.

Ha, how many times do I have to explain it? We could easily just take Dunleavy if things miraculously fall apart. Why would we give up part of our young core to move up one spot? Put it this way, I would rather have Dunleavy and Chandler than just J-Will. I would rather have Wagner and Curry than J-Will. It is not that hard to follow. You are not going to fool anyone into giving you great players.

You have to think about what you are saying. You are saying the Bulls need to give up everything they can to get Williams. That logic is false and I dare you to post any of this on a Bulls oriented board and then view the results.

This discussion has run its course. Come draft day, you will see what I mean...

And I would rather have Brand than Chandler. What's your point j-crossover? The #1 pick is a very valuable commodity. Look at what GS gave up in the Webber deal. I'm not saying it will be Curry/#2 for #1, that seems unrealistic. But, what about Curry/#2 for #1/Kt/#15? Not as unrealistic, imo.

BTW, a few years ago, when Fizer was coming out, many posters here were in love with him. A 20/10 guy, the next Barkley, etc. I didn't believe it. But, one poster here said that KT would be better than Fizer. I wasn't as bold. Who was that poster?

If you don't understand my point then you never will....

Why trade Curry to move up one spot? My point is that we don't need J-Will bad enough to give up Curry or Chandler. It just won't happen.

And where is Dunleavy going to fit in with Jalen Rose and Trenton Hassell? Who is going to be the consumate point guard? I never said it'd be straight up Chandler and 2 for #1 - no one here has.

And in the end, what matters is what Jerry Krause wants and not what Bulls fans want. Needless to say, I could post this entire thread on any message board and get a similar reaction, except for a Bulls board. Then again, and no offense, I haven't seen many rational Bulls fans (gettinbranded excluded) around....so who knows what'd happen there.

i doubt that we would go all the way to china to end up trading the pick.
