    J-Crossover,

You think just because we took JWill we couldnt get a damn good trade for him. Please. Foyle for Williams, LOL.

Also, your bulls are not as good as you think they are right now and Krause does want JWill.

    Overall,

That threeway quote is a big hint. I agree with the above connotation of a 3 way broken off and were sold on Ming right now.

why would doc go through all this trouble, making a post that the CIA couldnt figure out, just to tell us the we will not make any trades, and we will use the #1 on ming?

that was the latest word anyway.

OK, now I'm confused. Doc mentions something about CLutch keeping a secret, but the front page of clutchcity leads me to believe that we are definitely taking Ming. So, if it's a secret, is Clutch misleading us? Check that, he's just reporting news that makes us seem interested in Ming. Very confused.

    True, Smoothie.

There is a contradiction that must be solved. Doc's sig and the mention of a three way trade.

    LOL

Ok, keep up your false hope. I'll try not to laugh on draft day. The Odom trade is a different story. The Clippers don't need Odom as much. They may be willing to trade, but I doubt that trade works out.

What are you going to give up if you get Jamison? Cato? Do you even have the cap room to take on that contract? What are you going to give in return? A bunch of scrubs? Why would GS trade Jamison for a bunch of overpaid slugs? Just to get J-Will? I seriously doubt it when they could easily take Wagner at 3.

Like I said, Houston isn't really in a position to hold the draft hostage. Everyone knows that any interest shown by the Rockets toward J-Will is false.

The Bulls don't need Ming. I don't know how many times I have to explain that.

    Keep the hope alive.....

ha ha. My theory, huh? I had no theory. My point was that, despite what you seem to think, the Bulls are not perfect, and won't necessarily cease to make trades just because you think they don't need to. They don't need Jay Williams. Of course they don't. No team really NEEDS any player. But they do want him, that much has been made apparent. So don't act like certain proposals are impossible just because you think it wouldn't be in the Bulls best interest.

    False hope?

    J-Crossover,

Look at your bulls last year. Jerry the great traded a 23 yr old stud big man in Brand for the 2nd pick.

You think Chandler is much more if any highly regarded than Ming or JWill?

Here is a realistic trade that could happen...

    Warriors trade:
    #3
    Fortson
    Foyle
    Arenas

    Rockets trade:
    #1
    Cato

That is a fair trade and the Rockets could still end up getting Ming or even Dunleavy. Plus they would now get a great rebounder in Fortson and a good backup with Arenas.

This is the type of trade you should look at. There is a slim chance that an Odom and #12 for #1 could happen, but I think that is doubtful because L.A. still considers Odom their best player as evident from various quotes from Alvin Gentry.

Jay Williams for Adonal Foyle? You're a smart basketball fan.

Hey, most of us want Ming!!! :D

You are missing the whole point. You guys are not going to get an all-star from a team looking to move up 1 or 2 spots. It just doesn't happen.

This was never about Chandler for the #1 pick.

I don't like that trade. Adonal Foyle is no better than Cato in my opinion. We already have Maurice Taylor and Eddie Griffin at the power forward spot, we don't need Fortson.

Now you are putting words in my mouth. I said possibly Foyle/Fortson and #3 for 31, not just Foyle for Williams. Please don't misquote me...

If BBS posters were compared to musical acts, then Doc Rocket would have to be Radiohead.

Everyone wants to hear what he (they, Radiohead) comes up with next.

Also, like Radiohead, Doc's cryptic posts don't make much sense on first reading (first listening).:p

    Really?

That trade would suck with GS.

We have the barganing power. If teams want Yao or JWill badly enough they offer what we want or we tell them to shove it and take Ming.

I pointed out the brand trade because your claim is we can't get anything good for the 1st pick.

That trade shows anything is possible and yes we can get something very nice if we trade number 1.

Who represented the Bulls at the All-Star game last year?
    Sorry, can't remember.

I don't think we'll be trading for Adonal Foyle and Danny Fortson. Come on.

I like the proposal you gave, and I think that would be a good trade. But dismissing trade suggestions of Odom based on things Alvin Gentry is saying here recently seems like poor logic to me. If Odom really is on the trading block, would Gentry say things like "We really don't think Odom is our man. We are looking to trade him. Etc etc."? I doubt it. He will try to play up the value of Odom to get as much as he can from him. Trying to figure out what is plausible trade-wise right now based on quotes from any coaches or GMs is an exercise in futility. So much of it is all smoke screens and misinformation. Odom is still a real possibility, I think. But who knows if the Rockets will do a deal like that. They may not even like Odom. I know I don't really like him.
