Warriors would never make this trade.

1.) They already have enough crazies in the house. As Jack Nicholson said,

"WE'RE ALL FILLED UP WITH CRAZIES HERE!"

    No Draymond/Demarcus need apply

2.) They need Klay to guard the PG because of Curry. As long as there is Curry, they will never trade Klay for Defensive purpose.

3.) Why would Warriors want Cousins even with #1 and #2? He's a horrible defensive player and his FG% is like a PG. HORRIBLE

7 years and his team has never been over .500

Look at Harden, a bunch of crappy players and he took the team to WCF

I'd do it. Part of Cousins problems is that he's on a terrible franchise. He'll change a lot when you put him on a contender. But, even if not Cousins, I think it'd make sense to trade Klay for a big man. You're not going to get the same utility out of him that you used to, and his trade value might go down playing between Curry and Durant. They probably will stand pat because there's risk in trading a key player when you have a clear path to the championship already, but it feels sub-optimal.

Thompson may or may not be a better player than Cousins. But why would they want to throw a headcase into a team with great chemistry? Not to mention, Cousins's team has won more than 30 games only once in 6 seasons.

they probably have a future starter in mccaw playing the 2 spot so they could conceivably move Klay.

But it's probably harder to find someone as good as Klay that's also willing to completely be unselfish and give up shots.

lol kings would be doing themselves a favor. GS on the other hand would get worse and ruin what they have built in the last couple years
