That's why the members of the United States military are heros because they are willing to die for all 4. Not all Americans are willing so they fight for our country, family, beliefs, and freedom.

    I would definitely do 1, 2, & 4...

    #3...

I am strong in my beliefs, but to say I would die for it???

This is why America is such a great country...Freedom and our way of life...

    USA...USA...USA...

1, 2, 3, and 4. As for #3...if we're talking about faith, then yes, I would most definitely choose to be a martyr over everything. Fighting for my country is important, as is my freedom.

Both my parents died when I was a teenager, my brother died when I was 11 and all my grandparents are dead. So as far as family...that's the weakest point. But I would die for my girlfriend.

I'm glad there have been people willing to die for all 4 in the past or we wouldn't be living for all 4 right now.

They are prepared to die for peoples freedom in another country.

They are heros because of their obedience, and they die because of the beliefs of the President.

What are you trying to say? They are puppets? Please don't tell me you are disrespecting our troops.

Well, you didn't specifically mention 'this' one in your question.

You said you couldn't die for your country, and if someone couldn't die for their country, how could they support this action. Considering that you have to be willing to die for your country in ANY war, since it is your country that sends you to war, and you said you couldn't do this, it follows that you couldn't support any war, by your criteria of having to be willing to die for your country in order to support a war. Unless I'm misinterpreting.

Hopefully that made at least a little sense.

You know what, you're right, your country shouldn't be an option because no matter what the cause is, you are fighting in the name of your country. I get it.

    To quote Full Metal Jacket:

"If I'm gonna get my balls blown off for a word, my word is poontang." - Animal Mother

Another quote that I think is eeirly similar rhetoric to this war.

"Personally, I think, uh... they don't really want to be involved in this war. You know, I mean... they sort of took away our freedom and gave it to the, to the g***ers, you know. But they don't want it. They'd rather be alive than free, I guess. Poor dumb bastards." - Private Eightball

I would die for my faith. I would die for my country out of obedience (say I was drafted - which I won't be). I would die for my family or someone else's family (not too particular - I would die to save someone else's life in any case). I would die for someone else's freedom but not for my own.
