People won't worry about the team losing it's draft pick this year......if he breaks out. And us fans would love it.... DD
Besides Lowry, T-Will has the most well rounded game. If he continues to improve, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a 15/5/5 type of player.
LOL. If this is racist, I must be missing the reference. As for T-Will, I'd love to have been wrong. I have my fingers crossed. Would be great to see him starting by the end of the season.
MIP Award? I see this happening if he can take someone's starting role or barring an injury elsewhere.. but knowing the Rockets *sigh. [knock-on-wood]
Because Williams still has to prove he has his head screwed on right, I'm more worried about him breaking in than breaking out. Of course, break-ins sometimes lead to break-outs.
Williams, Hill and Flynn will breakout this season. Thabeet will breakout next season equalling Dalemberts production. This team is set for the future.
One thing Williams can do or must do to become better is to move without the ball more. I would like to see that.
Agreed. In his lone full season, he was only assisted 39% of the time; about the same rate as Aaron Brooks during his MIP season. A guy like Squid should really be getting more easy buckets off of leakouts, backdoor cuts and alley-oops, which will mitigate his iffy jumper.
I think Twill should be our starting SF and Kmart will keep his starting SG role. Marcus Morris is still young and he will need a few more seasons to really become a good player. But right now, he shouldn't be a starter yet. I think the team is getting younger so I guess we can trade guys like Kmart or Scola and get high lottery picks because this team is loaded with good, talented, high potential young players at all position. Plus Dalembert shouldn't be a starter. He should come off the bench behind Jordan Hill. The way Hill is playing, Dalembert is his backup. Plus Jordan Hill is young and improving fast with McHale as his coach and on top of that, Hill can score, rebounds and improve on his defense and blocking skills. Dalembert doesn't have much of an offense so right now, Hill will be the Rockets starter.
