Trade Yao! Trade TMac! Fire Gundy! Start VSpan! Unless TMac gets injured, the Rockets will beat Utah.
I think we win this series; but I don't think some of the fans realize how hard this series is going to be. I think people calling for this series done in 5 or a sweep are fooling themselves. I doubt the warning matters, but if we should split the first two games I would hope that his board doesn't go out in an all out panic, I am kinds expecting it. Its the playoffs, its not going to be easy for this team to win, and Ill have multiple heartattacks watching them, but we'll win.
Jeez! What a bunch of small-minded and intolerant posters! This is not an unreasonable question - it may be an unpleasant one to ask (especially since the playoffs have yet to start) but hardly worth all the snide personal attacks I read here. Truth be told, MacYao is merely voicing something that nobody wants to face: that this is a make or break time for JVG and the Yao/TMac experiment. They have to win this series period. They have run out of excuses. Since it is a near universal consensus that the Rockets will win this series, anything short of that will be considered to be a major catastrophe. As such, should Utah prevail, the fallout will be severe. JVG & the coaching staff would most likely be gone but aside from that nobody knows. Quite a few of their scouts would probably be gone as well. Now that Dawson is finally gone, it would be up to Morey to recraft this team and no one knows just how he'd approach that task. But judging from the responses here, I can say with certainty that things would get real ugly real fast around here.
you don't ask that kind of question (and it might jinx us). It would be like a son asking his father what kind of grave stone would he like before his dad undergoes a heart surgery. Its just highly inappropriate.
JVG is fired and we trade our first draft pick again for a power forward with a jumper, hustles and leaps out of the gym.
I didn't list random names. Jermaine O'neal really could be traded in the offseason. Rashard Lewis will probably be on another team next year.
So MacYao223, I guess the first question that you asked your bride after you kissed her in the wedding is... ..."what if we divorce later?" Correct?
