and he says he has 0 motivation when the days come when he has to play the worst teams in the league. and that those are the worst days of the season. him being on one of them? yeah hes gonna pass on that

DG's value is on a team that's already a contender. And he's able to fill in those gaps. His value is complete garbage when they're not. That was already evident when GS played without Klay/Steph with their injuries and everyone saw they were just trash when he was the best player, which would actually be commons sense

I think that idea has huge potential! I'm warming to the idea of it going as well as Scottie Pippen.

So he could punch Kevin Porter in the grill and Kevin can throw the likes of food or soup at him?

Is that TMZ worthy, does that bring enough publicity for the next big free agent?

If Draymond was 21-24, and I'd have hindsight into the type of player he develops into, then I'd sign him. Warts and all.

But the dude turns 33 before this upcoming season is over. If we'd rather trade Eric Gordon than keep him, we'd do the same thing if we had a Draymond on this team.

    Timelines just don't match up.

This! I have no place for a loudmouth hypocrite who doesn’t hold himself accountable, is like a big man child, who was pampered by the league and would get us in a place w/ the media from which we cannot recover from in the next decade. Remember, Draymond would NOT get the same preferential treatment from the refs as he does here.

He gonna play with Bron. Lakers will have cap space since they are punting this season. I wouldn't be shocked if Cray took a small discount to to be with his butt buddy either.

Yeah, he also says he's criminally underpaid.

Guess who has cap space next year without a lot of marquee free agents available, and no incentive to tank.

Again, I hate Draymond, but if you had a starting front court of Draymond-Smith- Eason (sorry Sengun) - you have the makings of a defensive juggernaut.

Forget about his locker room toxicity at this point. His age just doesn't fit with the Rockets timeline. By the time this team is going to contend he's going to be past 35.

Unless you think he provides great mentoring and in court coaching to the team I don't see the usefulness of Draymond here.

Draymond's greatest value is ref allowance of holding and undercutting. Remains to be seen if that will continue to other teams.

    I realize that.

I also have reason to believe that his feelings have not been ameliorated in the intervening 3 years:

You may have seen this reason:

remember the Rockets basically can't/shouldn't be bad in 24 or 26.

Dam he was trying to do some real damage with that.

That's some deep-seated **** right there not tempers flaring because of a hard practice.

Draymond is not going to age well.

Uh, what? OK so it's just a coincidence then that when Poole gets a ~$130 million extension on Monday that has been under discussion all month that there will probably not be enough left over to retain Draymond?

I'm sorry but there is no logical way that this is unrelated to the incident:

    TMZ's original report:

Fast forward to Wednesday's practice. Our sources on site say Poole called several fouls during a scrimmage, and Draymond called him a "b****" multiple times as a result.

Things escalated when Poole allegedly said, "You know what it is, Draymond." -- seemingly bragging over the contract situation -- and Draymond got in Poole's face, allegedly saying, "No I don't know, what is it?"

Nope, he isn't going to age well. That type of punch could land someone to prison. I don't think many NBA players are going to trust being around Draymond much anymore.
