You can always draft Miller. Or trade down and get two picks in the lottery from a team like OKC. I would draft Henderson personally

 

I like KPJ and I think he will figure out how to be a legitimately valuable player one day, but it’s not going to be as a starting PG.

Right now, if KPJ is your lead ballhandler, you’re a bottom 5 NBA offense, and we don’t want to be that anymore.

If he can handle a demotion, keep him as a bench guard. Otherwise move him on.

Doesn’t matter if we get Scoot. KPJ cannot be starting for us next year.

 

I’d give KPJ a shot at SF before I bench or trade KPJ before Jabari

Thinking we have more of a logjam at point guard because of KPJ is really something when we got Sengun, Bari, and Tari at the big man spots.

You just take the best player available and then you figure it out later, that's all there is to it, really.

 

Harden would be more of a 3 defensively anyway so that might work.

 

Super easy, you just have KPJ/Tyty/Christopher compete for backup guard minutes. Where's the logjam? It's a perfect fit. Those guys should be bumped down to reserve level on a playoff-chasing team. I would still even add an end of bench 30+ year old vet PG with good character. Not for minutes, almost exclusively for mentorship.

KPJ's contract will be very useful in trades if a really good player becomes available. For example instead of swallowing a whole max contract we can send Scoot back the other way and the team would probably be content to have an eternally expiring contract - which would create space for another big contract for us. It's so team friendly that teams can use it for various purposes whether cap clearing or keeping KPJ always playing for a pay day.

I can also see KPJ as a 6th man that would be incredible and he's not too expensive for a great 6th man. I just think he's going to be a very good player who takes longer to develop than most.

Green is not going anywhere, you guys are really ridiculous. To feel hopeless about developing a skinny 21 year old averaging 22 points on 18 shots who randomly erupts for 40 points here and there is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard here.

 

Draft Henderson. KPJ moves to the 6th man. These two plus Green become the Rockets three player guard rotation.

I admit I was very surprised to see our Rockets falling potentially to number 6 on Tankathon after these 2 wins. How is that possible while having the joint worst record with the Pistons?

Yup. This is the best approach. Scoot/Green/KPJ creates a great young guard rotation.

 

If Henderson is drafted, have to move Scoot's (Henderson) locker to where KPJ's locker currently is, because that's the point guard locker spot.

 

Pray for trade sengun to spurs so he can become the all star player he deserve. I dont care if green ir kpj play center, 6 th man or chuck 40 shots every game.

It all depends if Harden comes through
