    1. We could not have traded Yao, because if we did the Chinese wouldn't have allowed Yao to come to the US.

    2. 2 years ago we had a good but old big man in Hakeem...he is gone, so we DON'T have the same team as we had 2 years ago. He was a big reason we won those 45 games.

    3. The wording in your question is inconsistent and confusing...are we adding Finley to the team 2 years ago? if so how can we trade Yao, who we don't have, for finley?

    4. Some of your threads are pretty decent...don't ruin your posting crediblity(like I have) by starting this crap. Think before you post...don't post because you think.

id pull the trigger on that in a hearbeat. that way collier would finally be able to get some pt. id hate to loose him like we did langey, just cause they dont play. colliers got the fire, desire and heart of a champion and if he doesnt start getting some p.t. he might bolt first chance he gets.
even scarier-what if he ended up with another western conference foe like the clippers or the nuggets. man, we would have to face the WRATH OF COLLIER four times a year...no thanks.
trade ming for finley so collier can start. throw it down big man!

Ease up on the Jazz fan. He (unintentionally?) makes a point - where are all the people that bombarded this board last summer with "trade the pick" threads? Where are the Yao for Odom supporters? I would like to give the Jazz fan the benefit of the doubt and believe that he is being facetious to relay this point. I don't really think the Jazz fan would actually like to see his archrival Mavs have the new twin towers.

I'm sure someone is at realgm.com right now working up a Moochie/Nachbar/Cato for Dirk trade

Give the guy a brake, he said if it was done during the summer, I think Jammal should at least come in and say that is what he meant. I'm sure if some of you guys heard about that deal before the season started, right after the lottery, you would have actually thought about it.

Tell me the last time the team with the #1 pick traded their rights for a 29 year old borderline all-star.

No one would've thought about it, because it's stupid.

I said no one wouldve traded that pick for a 29 year old borderline all star.

Do you purposely misquote people or are you just stupid and can't read?

Obviously the trade would be a joke for Rockets. But how about trading Yao and C Mobly for Dirk and Finley? I think it helps improve both teams. Imagine Houston with Dirk, Finley and SF will instantly become a strong team. For Dallas, they will have a league wining record, if not a championship, for years to come.

Lay off the thread starter. This trade suggestion did exist. I remember I've gone back and read past threads. There were several threads about this proposed trade. There is no search function now otherwise we could go back, read them and laugh. :D

Does anyone have any information about Mark Cuban admitting he was wrong about Ming or is he too proud? I noticed Dick Vitale said some harsh things about Ming and so far has not taken them back. It would be interesting to see that cocky Mark Cuban eat his words. Someone needs to make a Kenny Smith-Barkley Bet with Mark Cuban about Yao Ming before its too late.

    U r Mavs fan rnt u?

If we got Finley, we might (I say MIGHT) get playoff this year, but the championship will be missed for next 2 decades.

What do you guys expect from jamlacc? The dude admits he is a Rockets and a JAZZ fan! You have to be r****ded to be a fan of both of those teams. And by starting this thread now for no apparent reason he just proved it.

Addition after getting hammered by everyone: OKOK, this thread is not the most intelligent thread I've ever posted!!! However, I am not saying we should trade Yao for Finley. That would be some dumbest thing ever happened to an organization.

I am just throwing this in to discuss if we have Finley, would we have a better chance at playoff this year, not for the long run.

I lost all credibility with this thread? Sure, why not. This thread is not too smart after all. Anyway, I apologize to those people whose intellects are offended. Have a good day!
