The only way this happens in Leonard directly demands to be specifically traded to the rockets and not even sure if Leonard has a no trade clause and if not there goes leverage Without that, kawhi would have to be really unhappy to be on the spurs and maybe Morey could convince the spurs to a trade including Ryan Anderson, extra fillers, draft rights and signing rights to European players and money considerations. Even then that’s pretty unlikely but I mean Morey.
The only way I can see this happening is a couple simultaneous trades: 1. Gordon/Tucker/2019 Hou 1st for Kawhi 2. Capela S&T to Spurs P. Gasol/2021 Hou 1st to Clippers D. Jordan S&T to Rockets Not even sure if this is legal, but would result in: Paul/Harden Harden/MLE signing Kawhi/Ariza Anderson Jordan/Nene
No I am saying Ryan Anderson has a lot to do with any trade or signing move the Rox will do because he takes a large part of the cap. You just asked why Ryan Anderson is always being mentioned in trade or sign talks so I just answered your question. "Who could the Rox have signed instead" is a what if scenario, the reality is Anderson is already on this team now and is one of the worst contracts in the league.
Spurs were 36-9 last year, and this year there 31-18? Big difference on date from last year. Not like i feel sorry for them. But thats already twice as many losses. its only been 49 games.
Because it places severe restrictions on the amount of room under the cap and, at this present point in time, it’s virtually untradable. Ryno’s contract doesn’t allow much room for flexibility, i I’m pretty sure he doesn’t. Only two or three players do.
It's the street clothes factor right now. Kawhi wearing more street clothes than uniform these days. ESPN has that factored in.
I I don’t either but he’s an UFA after next year so he could easily walk for nothing if he wanted and I’m not sure if SA is willing to go through that. They either cash in now while they can or loose him for nothing, it’s tough yes but SA hasn’t the personal to stay relevant.
I do not either, but if their was a player that Cleveland would trade LeBron for that's it. Why does that matter to Houston? If LeBron was to demand a trade to Houston. Anderson, Gordon, the Nets pick and a future first from Houston will make them listen.
Kwai isn't the type of guy to jump ship. especially to a rival team. he's not Lebrun. the guy values the spurs like Harden values the rockets.
