if only we traded tmac for kobe and then hired phil.

and then, since kobe wants to win a championship so badly, he would re-work his contract so that he makes MLE money. that way the rockets can bring in a great PG to run the show, like jason kidd.

    yao
    hayes
    shane
    kobe
    kidd

the time to have gotten... P.J was when he made indications he wanted to coach the Rox a few years back...

good coach or not... there is a perception he is good...

and who do you think would have been more likely to attract players?

    P.J or JVG....

PJ = slightly more successful Pat Riley
just a leech who gets more credit than he deserves -- take RA over him any day

He would be out of work, he would count his great assets and then go into the wildernes to get away from everything .
This time I think he would retiire for good and take care of himself and his family.
It would be great for Phil Jackson and also good for the Houston Rockets-- Like wise for Larry Brown.... :p .....

Phil Jackson hasn't won a playoff series in 3 years.. He has clearly lost the touch.

For me it's suprising that he entered the PO. Look at Lakers roster. There is no suprise for me that he couldn't win a playoff series

Stan Van Gundy took rookie Wade and Lamar Odom to the playoffs (with limited contribution from an injured Butler).

Phil hasKobe, Odom, Kwame Brown (isn't he suppose to magically fix headcases with zen?), Luke Walton, Jordan Farmar (the Michael Jordan of Jewish Players) etc. Of course he is in the playoffs.

It's jus that Phil is over the hill and isn't good any more. He's like Vin Baker as a Celtic. Very sad.
