He gets one more bite at the apple on draft night. If he doesn't like the deal he's got on the table at the deadline, he might choose to roll the dice on making a trade at the draft when different players might be available.

I'm wary of the chances a midseason trade can put a season back on track to real contention. If Howard really is so hurt, the roster is going to need something more invasive than a band-aid. If they think he's coming back for the playoffs, make trades to maximize our chances this postseason. If they think he's not, maybe they should start setting up for a reload instead.

 

I'm expecting a PG. I think Morey should offer the Pels pick for MCW. He isnt the best shooter but he can create for others and he fits with our defense.

Playoffs are ALL about adjustments, and our coach can't make any. From top to bottom, we have a top 3 squad in the league in terms of talent, but lack of competent coaching brings up down to around 7/8.
