[What If] No trade happens by deadline

People who voted 0% -- have you been Rockets fans for like only 2 weeks?

 

Just realizing this is one of those annoying threads where the title is the opposite of the poll question.

 

Of all the years Morey has been GM... which years (if any) has he not made a trade at the deadline?

What happens if the Rockets don't make a trade?

They win 51-57 games and 50/50 win a playoff series (possibly two with a healthy Howard) and in the off season the Rockets move Ariza and make a run at signing Dragic.

 

Maybe Jarrett Jack is still an option. That's about the only potential deal I could see happening.

 

We better hope Harden AVGs 45 a game in order to get out of the 1st round bb

Probably only a small trade, one of those deals that's more about asset value than becoming a contender.

With Dwight's deteriorating health, Morey is likely just going to punt this season. We fans might as well do the same.

 

As has been stated already, it takes two teams to make a trade. I just don't think anyone is willing to deal with us, as we're a sub .500 team without harden.

 

That sucks... wish I didn't pay $200 for league pass and $120 ticket to see them in DC next month....
