Do y'all think he'd be about signing a vet min, and having a role similar to Garcia's? He averaged 14 points on 45% a game last season in his back up role in OKC, he proved himself to be an alright Rocket, albeit in tough times. Is he worth at least a thought?
That'd be a neat trick. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Free agent Kevin Martin has reached agreement on a four year, $28 million deal with Minnesota, league source tells Y! Sports.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/statuses/352213051023433728">July 2, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I think he'd be capable, but we already have a Shooting Guard on this team that doesn't defend. Let's see if we can get a deal done for Andre Iguodala.
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1ytCEuuW2_A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Why would he sign for the veteran's min when Minny was dumb enough to give him 4 years, $28M+?
Getting Martin cheap would have been sweet because it would only make the Harden trade that much more lopsided. It would have been the biggest robbery in sports History.
Don't know what makes this thread a bigger failure: Not knowing Martin signed with the T-Wolves by now, or thinking he'd accept our ***** offer.
