What if Hakeem came back in old form?

    When a person fasts for a long time, certain digestive consequences often follow. I'd say that's about as much explanation as anyone here needs.

    Well, perhaps if they were funny or accurate... This wasn't.

    I've fasted before, and had no trouble. Besides, the "fasting" during Ramadan is hardly stressful to the body since it only lasts from dawn to dusk. Of course, it can be stressful if you're a professional athlete playing a day game and can't drink water.

    But this never affected Hakeem -- I remember a Sunday game on NBC where he matched up very well against David Robinson (or was it Shaq?) and the commentators couldn't believe he wasn't drinking water during time outs.
