i dunno, but breh came to my high school to give a talk like 2 decades ago in his prime. very nice and down to earth. much respect.

 

The price cant rise forever .... there peaks and valleys in markets and valuation.

I keep watching the salary cap rise year after year multiple millions at a time and think this can't continue. The revenue streams are in fact limited .... TV contracts are going to change in the near future and probably wont be so lucrative as they are currently - the direction is online.

We're probably at or very near the peak of team sports valuation , unless they can figure out a way to keep the ball rolling as everything transitions towards the internet.

Ferntits did a stock buy back a few years ago so he didn't get hit the crash but he has to be cash poor post buy back. His wealth is on the verge of collapse.

 

I don't know what Tillman's situation is (and neither do any of you). But why do so many of you think that Jim McIngvale has the funds to buy the Rockets or any other professional franchise in this town? Even with an estimated net worth of $300,000,000...he'd still need significant partners to actually be the owners. At least Jim Crane owns a majority of the Astros. Mac wouldn't be able to do that. This silliness should stop because it ain't ever going to happen*.





*Unless Mac hits on many of these crazy bets he keeps making and suddenly becomes a billionaire.
