uhh...i didn't. i will admit there is some merit to pointing out the hypocrisy of some people, i.e. people bashed bush for everything but when BO does it it's ok, I think it's probably time to move on from that
WOW are you serious? The man has been in office now for 10 months and by month 5 was criticized for most issues going on. he got blamed for the tsunami, big bang, and Shaq going to the Cavaliers. Yes we should all ignore factual inaccuracies rather than point them out. What a surprise someone gets upset when a story full of BS is debunked.
Is there no way to even have an intelligent conversation on this? I don't think the "what if Bush had done that" inquiry is relevant because of context. I think the relevant inquiry is whether or not Obama does get a pass in light of how bad Bush was. This is to say, the last guy was so bad we would accept just about anyone, thus lowering our level of standard and critique. We, as citizens of a democratic nation have the duty to push our politicians to do the best in their capacity as civil servants. -V

It would be relevant if they listed things that Obama actually did, and Bush didn't do. Instead some of the stuff in the article Obama hasn't even done, and Bush actually did do.
Bush spent roughly 30 percent of his presidency "at the ranch." I'd like to see Obama top that vacation time.
Uhm... evidence proving it was false has been shown in this or other threads. If you have counter evidence then provide it, otherwise your post comes off as whining.
I'm not gonna waste my time with you or anyone else in here. Every thread with anything negative to say about Obama in the D&D is completely written off as lies. If I provided evidence you would just ignore it so why bother? I just think a large number of you in here are quite ignorant when it comes to any opposition of the President.
And, while I'm complaining, I should point out that these comparisons go the other way too. When conservatives complain about something Obama has done, some Obama supporter will say, "you weren't complaining when Bush [did something similar]!" Everyone is chomping at the bit to get an opportunity to call someone else a hypocrit. Why this is so personally rewarding, I can't understand. It's not even a logically-sound counter-argument; it's a simple ad hominum attack. Stop with the dumb complaining and make a real argument.
Debate and Discussion Complaints like this are so silly. So if I post an op ed that suggest you Obama is the greatest person in the history of the world and it gives examples, you aren't so supposed to challenge it right?
Actually many of us in here who have voted for Obama have said negative things ourselves and looked art evidence about Obama continuing the wiretapping policies of Bush etc. Burt when some writes an article based on false information like the white house supposedly excluding FOX, then it deserves to be debunked. If you don't want to provide evidence and instead just whine because others did provide evidence to debunk an article full of BS then don't.
Do you also believe maybe you're searching for something to complain about when it comes to Obama? To many people want to find something bad to argue about him on. Could the argument that many are closed minded to seeing what he has done as well?
