In one of the old NBA Live games, 99 I think, I got Allen in a trade and paired him with Steve. I thought "Boy, I'm a genius." Now I look back and think,"What an idiot." I have learned a lot in only a few years, haven't I?
actually, if we had A.I. on our team, along with the players we have now, we would be awesome. If you are talking about wins, then it would be great to have him. If you are talking about having good quality players, then it wouldnt be good to have A.I. If you want a championship, take A.I. PG: Francis SG: Iverson SF: Rice PF: MoTay C: Ming Bench: Mobley, Griffin, Thomas, Nachbar, Cato, Moochie Not too shabby
i'm assuming that the sixers void his contract and let him go and we sign him for the mid-level exception in this acquisition right? hehehe
I admit, AI is good, but I think I gave up a lot for him. (I cheat and take off fatigue and the foul limit . That way I only need 5 players. ) I don't think it would work out in real life. If AI could stick with 15-20 shots a game, maybe. I think I just used his speed to get lots of layups. Probably had that amount of shots in a game, and averaged 20-30 ppg. But he probably also had a 80% fg percentage. If he could do this in real life, and stay out of trouble, bring him on! BTW I know that I need to change the difficulty in my games, but its so fun to go 82-0 and avg 200ppg.
Or what if it was Francis instead of Iverson and, instead of threatening people with an unregistered gun, he privately grumbled that he'd rather the team trade for Lamar Odom than take Yao Ming? Then would people want to trade him?
We already had Allen Iverson, with all the attitude and less of the talent. We called him Vernon Maxwell.
