i pretty much like everything about yao, but i think he does need to be a bit more aggressive as well and i know that'll come with time....also, i wish he would try to dunk it more instead settling for layups, maybe a little more upper body strength and stamina as well

You don't like Yao, that's OK, But you are so stupid laughing Yao's zero rebounds in a game. If last year's MVP Nash could be scoreless in a game, why Yao has to get boards every single game? I believe every player had his nightmare game.

The thing I like about Yao is his discipline and loyalty.

The thing I dont' like about Yao is his total obedience to VG's play schemes and his lack of assertion when it comes to the choice of play/player style. Well, maybe this is too demanding, given that he's only in the league for less than 4 yrs and his limited English ability. Nevertheless, I do hope he can discuss the O&D schemes and play styles with coaching staff and teammates more.

I hope both he and Tmac can come out and correct JVG and CD when they are making mistakes like they did this season. Both Tmac and Yao are so smart that it's almost a waste to have them only used as JVG's robots.  ;)

I'll second that. When some guy is mauling him and the refs don't call anything, sometimes I really wish he'd just give the other guy a nice little elbow to the face.

And I do wish he'd dunk more instead of trying for layups.

But I don't think there's another player in the league I'd trade him for.

well, of course....but these days Tracy's merely a passager on the Yao train. I've notice this theme around various Rocket boards.

What gets lost in the love fest is that for Houston to accomplish what they intended when they acquired Tracy....BOTH have to play like MVP's. The only difference now is that Yao has shown he can play at that level but that doesn't mean Tracy can afford to play the background, he HAS to be dominant as well. Nobody was asking Yao to not to step on Tracy's toes when he clearly the best player on the squad....so I really dont understand the "lets hope tmac doesn't get in yao's way" thinking.
